The Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese American Archives

This digital image collection covers a wide range of topics all related to Portuguese-American history. The materials found within the collection are part of the Ferreira-Mendes Portuguese-American Archives, which actively documents Portuguese-American history and culture. Images are drawn from genealogical records, newspapers, books, recordings, family photographs, scrapbooks, business records and correspondence that document the social history, illustrate the collective experience of immigration, settlement and life in the United States.
